The cottage is an important feature in Dimensional Boundaries. Jack's parents gave it to him and it is the place where he grew up in the summers. It was where he learned about the beauty of Nature and respect for the animals who have it as their home. It was also where he first looked at the dark night sky and wondered about the universe.
